Silence on the occupation’s Crimes Against Palestinian Unarmed Citizens is a Crime Itself
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemns the brutal acts of the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian citizens participating in the major return marches in Gaza Strip, which led to the injury of 44 citizens yesterday, including 22 live bullets, which led to the death of dozens of civilians.
The Ministry also strongly condemns the Israeli occupation forces shooting of live bullets at the child Abdel Rahman Eshteiwi (9 years) in the town of Kafr Qaddum, resulting in a severe injury. The Ministry warns of the consequences of dealing with the crimes of occupation, and the normalization of murder and extrajudicial executions.
The Ministry believes that the silence of the international community and the relevant international legal and humanitarian organizations encourages the occupation authorities to pursue its crimes. The Ministry calls upon the relevant organizations and the UN Councils to raise their voice and assume their responsibilities in providing international protection for our people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including occupied East Jerusalem.
