Netanyahu's Statements Reflect the American Conspiracy and the International Disillusionment
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at a ceremony commemorating the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the so-called Samaria Settlements Council, "This is our land and our homeland. We will continue to develop and build it. In any future political plan, we will not uproot any settlement or any settler, the IDF and the security forces will continue to control the entire area west of the Jordan River, and work to achieve international consensus on these principles.”
The ministry believes that the explicit acknowledgment made by Netanyahu yesterday summarizes the objectives of the ruling right in Israel and reflects the colonial goal, and further reveals the position of the ruling right, which is completely hostile to any political solutions to the conflict, thwarting the negotiations and aborting the chances of achieving peace.
The Ministry condemns, in the strongest terms, this colonial program, whose details have been revealed by Benjamin Netanyahu, and its implications affecting the chances of achieving peace and stability in the region, and affirms that this program ignores Washington's claim and its efforts to achieve an alleged peace plan, as it also challenges the international community and the United Nations, and the counties who call for peace on the basis of the two-state solution and the principles of human rights. The ministry calls on the UN Security Council to stop at Netanyahu's words and expose their significance in accordance to international peace and security.
