Minister Shahin Arrives in Addis Ababa, Launching African Tour to Ethiopia, Kenya and Ghana
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Varsen Shahin, arrived in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, marking the start of a diplomatic tour across Africa that includes Ethiopia, Kenya, and Ghana. The visit aims to hold high-level bilateral meetings, take part in the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People in Addis Ababa, and participate in the 7th United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-7) in Nairobi.
Upon her arrival at Addis Ababa International Airport, the minister was warmly received by several Arab ambassadors accredited to Ethiopia, along with the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Ethiopia and Permanent Observer to the African Union, Fares Al-Qub. The warm welcome reflected the strength of fraternal relations and the continued Arab support for Palestine.
Later, Minister Shahin will hold a briefing for Arab ambassadors in Ethiopia to present the latest developments in Palestine and discuss ways to coordinate diplomatic efforts.
