The General Director of the Palestinian Agency for International cooperation, Imad Al-Zuhiri, received at the agency's headquarters on Wednesday 7/2/2019 the representative of the Republic of Romania to Palestine, Ambassador Cătălin-Mihai ŢÎRLEA and Mr. Hussam Eddin Abu Rub, in the presence of Third Secretary Jalil Qaree and a representative of Europe's file Diplomatic attaché Leen Shami .To Promote development cooperation between Palestine and Romania through the programs of the Palestinian Agency for International cooperation.
Al-Zuhiri began by welcoming the delegation and gave a detailed presentation on the Agency's activities, vision, working mechanisms and action plan for 2019, and then the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the development areas and bilateral relations between the two countries, where Ambassador Cătălin-Mihai ŢÎRLEA noted the desire of the Romanian side to participate in Projects of the Palestinian Agency for International cooperation around the world, and the need to open bilateral relations between the Palestinian agency and the Romanian Agency to exchange experiences and experiences and to plan joint projects to serve the goals of sustainable development according to the United Nations development Agenda 2030.
Al-Zuhiri also stressed the importance of holding a future meeting between the Palestinian and Romanian Agency with the aim of developing Palestinian-Romanian cooperation and establishing future projects between the two countries, as well as studying the possibility of implementing various development projects in a number of countries.
