Palestinian-Russian Agreement to Extend the Implementation of the "Restoration of Historical and Religious Center" Project

 Ramallah. 14/2/2019- The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Riad Malki and the Russian ambassador to the State of Palestine, Mr. Haidar Aganin, signed the extension protocol for the restoration project of the historical and religious center in Bethlehem located in Nejmeh Street next to the Church of the Nativity. The project's implementation period was extended from 24 months to 36 months, this comes within the framework of continued and active cooperation between the Palestinian and Russian governments, as the Russian government agreed to extend the implementation of the project which was initiated once all necessary procedures were accomplished in both countries.

It is worth mentioning that the agreement on this project was signed in September 2016, and is worth $4 million in favor of the municipality of Bethlehem.
