Malki: United States of America pressures Arab countries to stop financial support for our people in Palestine

Minister of Foreign Affairs and expatriates Dr. Riad Malki said that the United States of America is pressuring the Arab countries to stop financial support for our people.

"The leadership is following these new American attempts to impose a financial blockade on our people and is looking for legal steps to bring lawsuits against the United States against all these illegal steps, on the one hand, and continued attempts to find appropriate financial alternatives to respond to these punitive measures on the other hand.

With regard to the intention of the Israeli occupation government to take part of Palestinian tax funds that it claims that it pays salaries to prisoners and families of martyrs, Malki directed the Palestinian leadership to raise the issue to the General Assembly of the United Nations and international legal institutions to hold Israel accountable and punish On stealing this money without a right.

With regard to the Warsaw Conference, the Foreign Minister considered the Conference a conspiracy aimed at jumping on the Palestinian cause and Arab normalization with Israel, stressing the Palestinian stance rejecting this conference and any outputs it will produce, stressing in the context the lack of Palestinian participation in it.

Regarding the participation of President Mahmoud Abbas in the African summit in Addis Ababa, Malki stressed the importance of the Palestinian issue for African leaders and their keenness to remain on the agenda of their priorities, which is to support us in all international forums and their keenness to share their sovereignty at the two summits. The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs said that, in his speech, Mr. President would emphasize that the International peace Conference was the way out of this stalemate in the peace process because of the violations of the occupation authorities against our people and the fully supportive American position in all international forums.
