The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates// The Palestinian Bloodshed Continues Without Holding the Occupation and its soldiers Accountable
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemns, in the strongest terms, the horrific crimes committed by the occupation forces and its police during the past two days, with shooting three Palestinian citizens in order to kill them, which led to Iyad Al-Hallaq's martyrdom, (30 years old), a young man with special needs near The door of Al-Asbat in the old town of occupied Jerusalem, and the martyrdom of the young Fadi Adnan Qaad, (38 years old), near the spring of the village of Nabi Saleh. The Ministry considers these crimes an extension of the organized state terrorism crimes practiced by the occupying state and its settlers against our people, land, property, sanctities, plantations, homes, and national economy, as an expression of the depth of racism prevalent not only in Israeli society, but also in decision-making circles and government of the occupying state.
These crimes demonstrate that there are direct instructions for the occupation soldiers, the police, and terrorist settlers to kill the Palestinians for the sake of suspicion, and that they have wide powers to shoot civilians as targets for shooting and training, and to keep them bleeding to death without providing any aid, or allowing the paramedics to reach them. In most cases, and in order to cover up its crimes, the occupation authorities often resort to opening fake and formal investigations into a number of these crimes, with the aim of misleading the international community and international public opinion, and making them believe that there are investigations. These misleading investigations either lead to the release of the accused, or the imposition of mock verdicts on them that are not commensurate with the size of the crime, and soon the sentence is reduced and they get released with direct interference from Israeli officials, as exactly what happened with the murderer of the martyr Abdel-Fattah al-Sharif and others, proving once again that what is called the justice system in the occupying power, is implicated in covering up and legitimizing these crimes, and it is an integral part of the occupation regime itself.
The Ministry says that the Israeli government and its various arms are fully and directly responsible for those crimes and their repercussions, and further demands the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities in providing international protection for our people, and demands the international criminal to condemn those crimes and not link them to any other accounts, and follow all threats that reach the court from the criminal countries, and bypass the protocol obstacles that hinder behind them. The International Criminal Court is required this time to show its credibility and professionalism in dealing with the Palestinian situation and the Israeli crimes and whoever commits it and stands behind it.
