Ministry of Foreign Affairs Calls for International Measures and Sanctions to End Settler Terrorism Against Palestinians

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemns the escalation of settler terrorism across the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, with recent armed attacks in Deir Ballout, Al-Auja Springs, Massafer Yatta, the northern Jordan Valley, and Sebastia carried out under the protection of the Israeli occupation army to entrench control and advance annexation. These assaults, alongside road blockades, attacks on Palestinian vehicles, and over 900 military checkpoints, spread fear, restrict movement, and impose collective punishment on Palestinians.

The Ministry stresses that this escalation occurs amid ongoing genocide, displacement, and siege in Gaza, depriving Palestinians of basic rights through bombardment, starvation, and restrictions on aid.

The Ministry notes that the continued silence and failure of the international community to halt the crimes against our people for nearly two years is utterly unjustifiable. It condemns this prolonged inaction as indefensible and urgently calls on states and United Nations bodies, particularly the Security Council, to move beyond empty rhetoric. The Ministry demands decisive, legally binding measures under international law to immediately end genocide, forced displacement, and annexation, protect Palestinian civilians, uphold the two-state solution, and advance a genuine, peaceful political process to resolve the conflict.
