The persistence of the arbitrary mass detention policy of Israel, the occupying Power, is an integral part of its system of persecution and repression for the perpetuation of its colonial system in the occupied state of Palestine.

This policy touches on the entire spectrum of the Palestinian people, children, women and deputies, as well as leaders, academics, activists and human rights defenders. It called for the immediate cessation of these policies, which serve to suppress and intimidate our people and other policies of daily arrests, especially night-time arrests of Palestinian children and women, as well as the need to end the systematic policies of hazing and torture against detainees, especially children and women. The Ministry also stressed the need to support our brave and steadfast prisoners in the occupation prisons, the title of the freedom of the Palestinian people, and end the suffering of children and women in occupation prisons.
