The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Briefs Diplomatic Corps on Israel’s Violations Against Palestinian Women
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, in coordination with the Ministry of Women’s Affairs, held a briefing today for members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Palestine to highlight Israel’s ongoing violations against Palestinian women amid the war of extermination and forced displacement, while calling for joint efforts to ensure their protection and empowerment.
The Ministry of Women’s Affairs presented the devastating psychological, social, health, and economic impacts of forced displacement on women and girls. The briefing included videos showing statistics on the aggression in Gaza, its impact on women, live testimonies of women subjected to assault, threats, and humiliation, and documentation of settler violence against residents in Al-Mughayyer village near Ramallah.
This briefing reinforced the need for urgent international action to hold Israel accountable for these crimes and protect the rights and dignity of Palestinian women.
