Official delegation headed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expatriates on a tour to Central America.
A high-level official delegation led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expatriates is on a tour to Central America that includes Guatemala and Honduras. This is to hold meetings at the official, parliamentary and grass-roots levels, with a view to affirming the legal status of occupied Jerusalem and the importance of preserving and maintaining this status in accordance with the resolutions of international legality and international law.
The visit also aims to conduct a series of meetings with church congregations and clerics from various sects, especially evangelical, to stop the misleading claims that are being used to mislead communities about the status of Jerusalem.
The visit will also focus on strengthening relations with community members in both countries, especially since the Honduran community is the second largest Palestinian gathering in the Latin continent after Chile.
The delegation is headed by the Assistant Secretary for the Americas and the Caribbean at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expatriates, Counsellor Hanan Jarrar, and includes members of the National Council, Mr. Fayez Al-Sakka, and Mrs. Vera Papon, Wood. And Dr. Jonathan Ktaab. The tour will be for a week.
