Minister Shahin held talks with the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain,at the United Nations Headquarters in New York

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Varsen Shahin, held talks with the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, on the sidelines of the Security Council meetings.

The two sides reviewed the long-standing brotherly relations between the State of Palestine and the Kingdom of Bahrain, reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening cooperation and coordination across various fields in service of mutual interests and the two peoples.

They also discussed international efforts to advance the implementation of the Gaza peace plan, aimed at enabling recovery and reconstruction, and ensuring the urgent delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians.

Minister Shahin stressed the need to intensify international efforts to halt the assaults, strengthen the humanitarian response, and work towards a just and comprehensive peace in line with international law and relevant UN resolutions.
