Minister Shahin bids farewell to the Turkish Consul General on the occasion of his end of tenure

Ramallah - 12/06/2024 - Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Varsen Agabekian Shahin, bid farewell today, Wednesday, at the Ministry's headquarters, to the Turkish Consul General, Ambassador Ahmed Reza Demirer, on the occasion of the end of his official duties in the State of Palestine, in the presence of the Chief of Protocol, Ambassador Abir Al-Rimahi.

Minister Shahin expressed her appreciation for Mr. Demirer's efforts in enhancing and developing bilateral relations and wished him success in his new duties, emphasizing the need for continued development of the relationship between the two countries in various fields.

For his part, Mr. Demirer expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception and cooperation he received during his stay in Palestine and the success of his mission, reaffirming his country's steadfast position on the Palestinian issue and the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state according to the two-state solution and international legitimacy resolutions.
