Dr. Shahin urges Greece to recognize the State of Palestine during her meeting with the Greek Consul
During a meeting with Greek Consul General Dimitrios Angelosopoulos, Dr. Varsen Aghabekian Shahin, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, urged Greece to recognize the State of Palestine. She emphasized that such recognition would support efforts to achieve regional security and peace. Shahin also highlighted the need for international efforts to protect Palestinians, stop Israeli aggression, ensure humanitarian aid delivery to Gaza, and establish a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. She called for strengthening bilateral relations between Palestine and Greece and appreciated Greece's continuous support for Palestinian institutions and UNRWA.
Consul Angelosopoulos reiterated Greece's commitment to the two-state solution and enhancing bilateral cooperation.
