President Abbas Reviews a Report Presented by the Foreign Minister on the Situation of Palestinian Communities Abroad in Light of the Spread of the Coronavirus
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, received today, a report from the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr Riad Malki on the situation of the Palestinian communities abroad in light of the spreading of the Corona virus pandemic.
The Foreign Minister presented a detailed report on the numbers and locations of Palestinians who were infected with Corona virus in various countries of the world, as well as on deaths among Palestinians.
The President instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to continue to follow up on the Palestinian communities to determine their conditions and provide whatever assistance can be given to them. His Excellency also gave strict instructions to work to return Palestinian students and stranded people from different countries of the world to Palestine, and to coordinate with the Ministry of Health to arrange their return procedures and to provide them with examinations and medical services upon their arrival in Palestine.
His Excellency praised the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in following up on the conditions of Palestinians abroad and providing them with the required assistance.
