Malki: Israel's theft of Palestinian funds is a serious violation of international humanitarian law and international conventions

Minister Dr. Al-Maliki stressed that Israel's theft of the Palestinian funds is a serious violation of international humanitarian law and the international conventions of bilateral agreements signed between the two parties.

This came during the meeting of Foreign Minister Dr. Malki and President of the International Red Cross, Peter Maurer, on the sidelines of the 40th session of the Human Rights Council and at the high-level meeting of the Council currently held in Geneva.

Malki  pointed out that Israel, the occupying Power, must be held accountable for its crimes against the Palestinian people and the theft of its money and property, and  Minister Malki warned of the impact of this crime on Palestinian social Security and the work of Palestinian national institutions, and it will expose the suffering of prisoners, the captive Abu Diak, and the policy of medical neglect deliberately carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities in Israeli jails against our people, and demanded that there be a very important role for the Red Cross and that they must always intervene for the lives of our prisoners and detainees, and have a greater role in exposing the practices Israel's violations of the Fourth Geneva Convention are considered to be the protector of this Convention and the executors of the Fourth Geneva Convention. Malki put it in the form of recent policy developments and the attitude of the leadership rejecting the deal of the century because it deprives our Palestinian people of their basic rights in Jerusalem in the refugees and everything,

For his part, the President of the Red Cross, Mr. Peter Maurer, stressed that there will be substantial cooperation between Palestine and the Red Cross through his mission in Palestine and Israel or through the mission of the State of Palestine in Geneva for permanent contact with the President of the International Red Cross and that they are always ready to help Palestine always through a To the mandate given to them in this land.
