Dr. Malki receives a copy of the credentials of the new Russian ambassador accredited to the State of Palestine

Minister of Foreign Affairs and expatriates Dr. Riad Malki, on Tuesday, received a copy of the credentials of the new Russian ambassador to the State of Palestine, Ambassador Gocha Buachidze , wishing him success in his work as Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the State of Palestine, expressing at the same time the readiness And the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expatriates in its various sectors to coordinate and provide all the facilities for the success of its tasks in the State of Palestine.

During the meeting, the Palestinian-Russian relations and the prospects for their development were reviewed. Minister Malki praised the historical and principled positions of Russia in upholding the inalienable and legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, foremost among them the right to embody the establishment of an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital on the fourth June 1967 borders, the right of return for refugees and the right to self-determination. Stressing the keenness of the Palestinian leadership to strengthen the distinctive bilateral relations between the two friendly peoples and the Palestinian-Russian leadership.

Minister Malki reviewed the official and popular Palestinian position in rejecting the deal of the century and the Bahrain Workshop, which aims to liquidate Palestinian national rights, achieve a regional settlement at the expense of the cause and the Palestinian people, and to re-define the concepts and controls of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, pointing That the Manama workshop, which will be held today in the Bahraini capital Manama, which will discuss how to improve the living conditions of the Palestinians without addressing the end of the occupation and the establishment of the Palestinian State, is an extension of the ominous Balfour promise that spoke of the civil issues of the minorities at that time, the minister Malki also considered that the decisions of the US government cannot nullify our right to our land and the right of our people to freedom and independence.

For his part, Russian Ambassador Gocha Buachidze reiterated Russia's firm positions in support of the national rights of the Palestinian people, including its right to a Palestinian independent State, in accordance with the resolutions of international legitimacy, confirming its readiness to work to strengthen relations between the two countries through its functions as Ambassador of Russia Of the State of Palestine.
