The State of Palestine expresses its solidarity with the Federative Republic of Brazil regarding the natural disaster that befell the State of Rio Grande do Sul as a result of the torrential rains and floods that have so far claimed tens of lives, injured hundreds, and displaced hundreds of thousands.

The State of Palestine affirms its full support of the fraternal people of Brazil in overcoming the difficult circumstances resulting from this crisis, and extends its sincere condolences to the Republic of Brazil, in mourning the victims, and wishes a speedy recovery for all those injured and a safe return of the missing persons.
