The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Calls for Concrete International Action to Halt Settler Militia Crimes

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates urges the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities under international law and relevant UN resolutions, particularly Security Council Resolution 2334, by taking deterrent measures to halt the crimes perpetrated by Israeli settler militias against unarmed Palestinian civilians. Immediate steps are required to ensure the full implementation of international resolutions and to hold settler militias accountable for their terrorist acts targeting our people, their land, property, and holy sites.

The Ministry underscores that the recent organized attacks by armed settler groups on Palestinian towns and villages clearly reveal a coordinated division of roles between these organized settler militias and the Israeli occupation forces. These joint operations aim to impose unprecedented levels of repression and intimidation against the Palestinian people. They also include the systematic destruction, vandalism, and arson of Palestinian property and infrastructure, the obstruction of main roads connecting Palestinian cities, and the closure of entrances to the villages with more than 1,200 checkpoints and iron gates; effectively paralyzing daily life for Palestinians as part of a calculated campaign.

The Ministry reaffirms its efforts to mobilize international action that reflects the gravity of the crimes committed against the Palestinian people and calls for urgent measures to dismantle settler terrorist groups, end their impunity, and impose effective sanctions on the entire colonial settlement regime.
