Ministry of Foreign affairs and expatriates: the funds of the Palestinian people are for their rights alone and we will protect them in accordance with international law

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expatriates condemns in the strongest terms the decision of the occupation to piracy Palestinian tax funds under flimsy pretexts and arguments contrary to the signed agreements and Israeli commitments in this regard, and considers it an integral part of the open and declared war of occupation against our people and their leadership Its national rights are firm and legitimate, and a blatant attempt is made to undermine the foundations and pillars of the steadfastness of our people in their homeland and to uphold the parameters of their national rights. This decision is accompanied by the escalation of the Trump administration's actions aimed at stifling and drying up the financial resources of the State of Palestine and its institutions, by tightening its financial blockade and preventing financial transfers to the Palestinian treasury.

The ministry asserts that the cut-off of aid, the piracy of Palestinian money and the prevention of remittances are aimed at bringing our people and their leadership into a desperate attempt to force their surrender, and passing the so-called "deal of the century" aimed at settling the Palestinian cause. If the Israeli-American side is of the mind that this policy can achieve its expansionist colonialist objectives, it is more important, especially since we have been through more and more difficult circumstances, and our people have been able to withstand and succeed in overcoming the hardships of adversity, while the occupation and its allies have failed to bring our people or His impulse to retreat from upholding his just and legitimate national rights. The Ministry holds the international community and the US administration fully and directly responsible for the results of this decision, especially the countries that will deal with it or the countries that will have to deal with it under the pressure of threats and blackmail. The Ministry asserts that we are in the process of resorting to international courts to bring legal cases against these Israeli-American resolutions and against anyone who dares to react or deal with them in any way, in defense of our people, our children, their rights, their livelihood and their livelihoods.
