Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expatriates calls for international criminal investigation to investigate crimes of occupation and settlers
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expatriates condemns in the strongest terms the lawlessness of settler gangs and their armed militias and their continued aggression against villages and towns south-west of Nablus, as an integral part of an expansionist colonialist scheme aimed at the establishment of a large settlement rally in that area. The Ministry also strongly condemns the acts of settler gangs and terrorist elements in successive attacks against the town of Oureef, its citizens and their property, including the attack on the village school and the destruction of its glass.
The ministry is astonished by the silence of the international community on those crimes committed by settler gangs in broad daylight and by the protection of the occupying forces, and considers this as the international failure to assume legal and moral responsibilities towards the suffering of our people. The Ministry calls on the United Nations, its councils and competent organizations, foremost among them the UN Security Council, to activate the international protection system for our people, as it calls on the international criminal to open an official investigation of the crimes of the occupation and its settlers.
