Intensified Diplomatic Efforts Against Israeli Knesset’s Decision to Ban UNRWA Operations

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expresses its strong appreciation for the international community’s condemnation of the Israeli Knesset’s decision to ban UNRWA’s operations, which constitutes a blatant aggression against the Palestinian people and refugees while undermining the principles of the United Nations and its specialized agencies. The Ministry calls for urgent international action to translate this widespread rejection into concrete measures that hold Israel accountable and protect UN institutions, compelling the occupying state to retract this legislation and refrain from its implementation.

In pursuit of this objective, the Ministry has directed all Palestinian embassies and missions to promptly engage with foreign ministries and decision-making bodies in host countries, aiming to forge a broad and influential international coalition. This coalition seeks to exert pressure in partnership with friendly and allied nations in both the Arab and Islamic worlds.
