Foreign Affairs and Expatriates: The Demolition of Buildings in Wadi al-Homs is a Systematic Destruction of Peace Sponsored by the United States

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemns the Israeli war crime and ethnic cleansing against Palestinians in Wadi al-Hummos area in Sur Baher in the occupied city of Jerusalem, Area C including the Occupied Palestinian Valley, adding to its black record of successive crimes against human rights.

Under direct instructions from President Mahmoud Abbas, the ministry began a series of contacts, moves, and letters sent to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, States and regional assemblies to reflect on the details of this complex crime and demands their speed action to condemn and stop it. Moreover, the ministry demands the International Criminal Court to assume its responsibility for this crime and initiate an official investigation on the crimes of the occupation.

The Ministry continues to coordinate its efforts with the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to hold the occupation authorities accountable for their crime. The Ministry reiterates that the international silence on this crime and other crimes against our people in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, encourages the occupation authorities to continue to commit such racist crimes and constitutes a cover and protection for the occupying state. Providing international protection to our people urgently, especially in light of the Israeli transformation, which is fully supported by the US Administration and its determined team.
