The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates warns of the deepening Israeli crimes against refugee camps in the northern West Bank for the fourth consecutive month

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates warns of the deepening Israeli crimes against refugee camps in the northern West Bank for the fourth consecutive month, which has resulted in the displacement of over 40,000 Palestinian citizens. This brutal policy of forced displacement is further exacerbated by the Israeli authorities’ announcement on Thursday of their intention to demolish 106 homes and buildings in Tulkarem and Nour Shams camps within 24 hours, a continuation of the widespread demolitions that have already targeted hundreds of homes since the beginning of 2025.

The Ministry considers these demolitions of homes and private properties in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, as an extension of the systematic atrocities and destruction inflicted by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip. These acts constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity, aimed at eroding the national and human presence of the Palestinian people in their homeland through one of the most brutal forms of forcible transfer and annexation.

The Ministry continues its intensive engagement with all countries and international institutions to confront the grave violations committed against the Palestinian people and calls for urgent, serious international action to compel Israel to halt its atrocities and comply with international legitimacy resolutions.
