Settler Militia Crimes Are Part of Israel’s Systematic Policy of Forced Displacement

Foreign Ministry Urges International Action to Halt Settler Attacks

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates calls on the international community to take concrete and effective measures to implement international legitimacy resolutions and to put an end to the crimes committed by terrorist settler militias against the Palestinian people. In the early hours of Thursday, settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, attacked the town of Silwad and the villages of Abu Falah and Rammoun, east of Ramallah, resulting in the killing of Khamees Abdel-Latif Ayyad (45) from Silwad and the burning of several vehicles. On Wednesday, settlers also attacked homes in the Wadi Ebyan area near Bethlehem and expanded an illegal colonial outpost in the village of Shallal al-Auja, north of Jericho. Similar assaults continue regularly in Masafer Yatta and the Jordan Valley. The Ministry affirms that these settler crimes constitute organized state terrorism, falling within the framework of an official Israeli policy hostile to peace. This policy aims to expand colonial settlement plans by enabling and protecting extremist settler groups as they escalate their attacks and atrocities. The Ministry underscores the urgent need to hold these settler organizations accountable, to prosecute them under international law, and to impose immediate sanctions on the entities that support, fund, and shield them politically and militarily.
