Ministry of Foreign Affairs Demands Immediate Intervention to Stop the Occupation’s Crimes of Starvation and Terror Against Palestinians in Gaza, Jenin, and Tulkarem

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemns the occupation’s use of starvation and thirst as methods in its war of extermination, displacement, and annexation against Palestinians. This includes the ongoing prevention of humanitarian aid from entering the Gaza Strip for the tenth consecutive day. The Ministry also denounces the occupation’s continuous crimes in the occupied West Bank, particularly in Jenin and Tulkarem and their refugee camps. These actions mirror the acts of extermination and forced displacement carried out in Gaza. At the same time, Israeli settler militias stormed the village of Um Safa near Ramallah, setting fire to several vehicles, exemplifying the coordinated efforts between the occupation army and extremist settler militias to intensify extermination, displacement, and annexation.

The Ministry views with grave concern the occupation’s attempts to normalize its presence among Palestinian civilians, accompanied by systematic crimes, violations, and acts of assault. This includes deliberate acts of terror, destruction of infrastructure, homes, vehicles, and livelihoods in a provocative, brutal, and intentional manner. The Ministry warns of the dire consequences of these crimes on any prospects for a political resolution to the conflict. The Ministry calls for bold international action that upholds international legitimacy, respects the demands of states, and enforces the precautionary measures ordered by the International Court of Justice to put an end to Israel’s unchecked violations as an occupying power and its persistent disregard for international law and the obligations imposed by the Geneva Conventions.
