Palestine is working intensively to strengthen cooperation with friendly countries

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Riyad Al Malki, said at the second high-level conference on South-South cooperation that the State of Palestine is working intensively to strengthen cooperation with friendly countries. Due to the Palestinian leadership belief in the importance of South-South cooperation, the Palestinian International Cooperation Agency (PICA) has been established by virtue of a presidential decree by his excellency president Mahmoud Abbas. PICA works as an executive arm of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and as the National Coordinator for South-South and North-South Cooperation, through which the State of Palestine supports countries that stand with the Palestinian people through development assistance and technical support. This also comes as an expression of the Palestinian people and leadership gratitude for the international support and friendly countries. PICA has so far implemented many projects and cooperation programs that serve the objectives of sustainable development goals, whether in bilateral, triangular or multilateral ways and in different fields such as education, health, environment, agriculture, statistics and others.
