On the second day of the Munich Security Conference, Minister Shahin met with Mr. Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of the UNRWA

On the second day of the Munich Security Conference, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Varsen Shahin met with Mr. Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of the UNRWA, in the presence of the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Germany,  Laith Arafeh.

The meeting addressed the humanitarian catastrophe faced by the Palestinian people, particularly in the Gaza Strip, alongside the ongoing targeting of UNRWA. The discussion emphasized the international community’s responsibility to provide protection and ensure all necessary forms of support to the Agency, enabling it to continue carrying out its irreplaceable role, especially amid the continuing humanitarian crisis.
