Ministry of Foreign Affairs: New Documentation of Occupation’s Execution of Relief Workers Demands Urgent Action to Stop Genocide and Ensure Accountability

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirms that the video footage published by an American newspaper, showing the deliberate execution of 15 humanitarian and emergency workers by occupation forces on March 23 in Rafah, refutes the occupation’s claims that it did not randomly attack ambulances and was unable to identify them due to a lack of lighting or emergency signals.

The Ministry considers this crime to be a fully-fledged war crime, falling within the framework of genocide and forced displacement targeting our people. It exposes the horrific daily crimes committed by the occupation forces against Palestinian civilians, humanitarian workers, UN personnel, medical teams, and journalists. The aim is to terrorize them and prevent them from providing any assistance to our people in Gaza, systematically destroying all aspects of life and making the territory uninhabitable as part of a broader effort to enforce forcible displacement upon Palestinians.

The Ministry reiterates its commitment to intensifying efforts to expose the occupation’s crimes before international institutions, particularly the UN Security Council, the Human Rights Council, and other relevant bodies. It continues to push for the activation of accountability mechanisms to ensure justice, uphold international law, and demand a serious international response that meets the responsibilities imposed by international legal and moral obligations.
