Ministry of Foreign Affairs Commends International Activists Aboard the Gaza Flotilla and Calls for Their Protection
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates salutes the international activists aboard the flotilla attempting to break the blockade on the Gaza Strip. The Ministry highly values their courageous efforts and willingness to endure significant risks at sea in pursuit of this noble humanitarian mission; standing in solidarity with our people in Gaza, who are subjected to the most heinous forms of genocide, ethnic cleansing, persecution, and starvation.
The Ministry urges the international community and all states to heed the call of these international activists and respond swiftly and effectively to their humanitarian message. The Ministry further calls for all necessary measures to be taken to ensure their protection from the brutality of the Israeli occupation. The Ministry reiterates the need to end the blockade on Gaza, halt the ongoing crimes of genocide and forced displacement, and to allow the sustained, unconditional entry of humanitarian aid, in full compliance with numerous United Nations resolutions and binding provisional measures.
