Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Inaugurates Consular Affairs Department and Attestations Hall with Full Support from the People’s Republic of China
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Varsen Shahin inaugurated today the Consular Affairs Department and the Attestations Hall at the Ministry’s headquarters. The inauguration was attended by Minister of Public Works and Housing Ahed Bseiso and the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Palestine Zeng Jixin. The development and rehabilitation project was implemented with full support from the People’s Republic of China.
Minister Shahin stated that the inauguration comes as part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance consular services and improve the quality of services provided to citizens. She expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to the People’s Republic of China for its generous support, and commended the Ministry of Public Works and Housing for its role and efforts in implementing and completing the project in accordance with the highest standards.
For his part, Minister Bseiso expressed his gratitude to the People’s Republic of China for its continued support to the State of Palestine, while also praising the constructive cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, which contributed to the successful completion of the project to develop and rehabilitate the Consular Affairs Department and the Attestations Hall.
Meanwhile, the Ambassador of the Republic of China reaffirmed his country’s continued support for the Palestinian people and their institutions. He expressed his pleasure at contributing to improving services provided to Palestinian citizens, and emphasized the importance of further strengthening diplomatic relations and enhancing the strategic partnership between the State of Palestine and the People’s Republic of China in a manner that serves the interests of both friendly peoples.
