Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expatriates: Ambassador Dr. Mazen Shamieh holds meetings with African and Asian ambassadors, the Arab League and the African Union delegation in Cairo
In the context of the Palestinian movement towards the African continent, and on the instructions of His Excellency Dr. Riad Malki, the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and expatriates, Ambassador Dr. Mazen Shamieh, held a series of meetings with many African and Asian ambassadors accredited to the State of Palestine in a non-resident manner through Cairo, In addition to the delegation of the African Union in Cairo, and coordination meetings with the General Secretariat of the Arab League to follow up and review Arab relations with the African continent, and its contributions in providing political support to the Palestinian cause with friendly African countries in African forums In the face of the pressures exerted by the anti-Palestinian forces and their cause with some African States and regimes committed to supporting the cause and the Palestinian right.
Ambassador Shamieh agreed with the Arab League that the Arab follow-up Committee on the Arab movement towards the black continent and the Arab-African-Islamic Coordination Committee should be convened to ensure a political umbrella for the Palestinian cause.
