Minister Shahin, participated in a special session on early recovery and reconstruction in the Gaza Strip
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Varsen Aghabekian Shahin, participated in a special session on early recovery and reconstruction in the Gaza Strip, opened by Reem Alabali-Radovan, with the participation of foreign ministers, peace envoys, and European and Arab partners during Munich Security Conference.
Minister Shahin stressed that the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem constitute one territorial unit of the State of Palestine, emphasizing that recovery and reconstruction efforts must be grounded in the unity of Palestinian territory within a clear political framework leading to the realization of an independent Palestinian state.
The session addressed ways to support early recovery, ensure safe access for aid, and strengthen coordination with Palestinian national institutions. Participants also underscored the importance of sustaining the ceasefire, creating the necessary political and security conditions to advance the two-state solution, and rejecting any measures that undermine this path.
