She discussed these matters with Neville Montenegro,Acting Head of the Ecuadorian Representative Office in Palestine, emphasizing the need to expand bilateral ties, particularly in sectors like religious tourism.

Dr. Shahin also drew attention to the dire situation faced by Palestinians amidst ongoing genocidal acts in Gaza and persistent violations by the Israeli occupation and settlers in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem. She emphasized the urgency of halting Israeli aggression, achieving a political solution to end the long-standing occupation, and establishing an independent Palestinian state.
