Minister of Foreign Affairs Varsen Shahin met with Mr. Phan Anh Sơn, President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Associations in Hanoi to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation and expanding people-to-people relations.

Minister Shahin conveyed condolences for the victims of the recent floods and affirmed Palestine’s solidarity with Vietnam. She highlighted the historic ties between the two nations and praised Vietnamese friendship organizations for their continued support of the Palestinian cause.

Mr. Sơn reaffirmed Vietnam’s steadfast support for the rights of the Palestinian people and emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation between institutions in both countries, especially through educational and awareness-raising initiatives.

The meeting concluded with mutual commitment to deepening partnership and opening new avenues in development, education, and humanitarian cooperation.
