Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rejects Israeli Disinformation and Warns Against the Weaponization of Incitement to Advance Forced Displacement and Genocidal Policies

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates firmly rejects the misleading narratives promoted by the Israeli occupation authorities, aimed at portraying the occupying power as the victim while concealing the grave crimes committed against the Palestinian people. These narratives seek to justify unlawful killings, military assaults, settler terrorism, collective punishment, intensified restrictions on movement, and the continued expansion and legalization of illegal settlements across the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

The Ministry warns that the Israeli government’s escalating rhetoric of incitement, particularly in the context of domestic political competition, is being exploited to legitimize systematic policies of forced displacement, annexation, and acts that amount to genocidal practices against the Palestinian people. Such rhetoric is not merely political discourse; it serves to normalize and facilitate ongoing violations of international law.

The Ministry reiterates that the Advisory Opinion of the International Court of Justice unequivocally affirmed the illegality of Israel’s occupation and settlement enterprise, calling for the immediate end of the occupation, the dismantling of all settlements, and the obligation of all states not to recognize or assist the unlawful situation.

In coordination with Palestinian diplomatic missions worldwide, the Ministry continues to engage governments, parliaments, and international institutions to expose these violations, mobilize international action, and ensure accountability for those responsible.

The Ministry calls upon the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to take urgent and concrete measures to protect the Palestinian people, end settler terrorism and Israeli military aggression, and hold Israel accountable for its ongoing violations of international law.
