Venezuelan President Maduro renews his country's commitment to support and stand with the Palestinian people
Caracas – The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro Moros, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs and expatriates, Dr. Riad Malki at the presidential palace of Hospitality in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, after commencing his second term as President of the Republic for the period 2019-2025.
Malki, conveyed the congratulations of President Mahmoud Abbas to the Venezuelan president and wished him success in continuing to serve the brotherly Venezuelan people, who always stood with the rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination and the consecration of their independent State with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
President Maduro stressed Venezuela's stance in support of Palestine and it’s just cause, and denounced the US actions against the Palestinian people and the brotherly Venezuelan people, arguing that they are inhumane and contrary to International Law.
They discussed in all bilateral relations between the two countries and addressed a joint movement mechanism at the bilateral as well as multilateral level through the Group of 77 and China, which will be chaired by the State of Palestine during the days and the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries, which is chaired by Venezuela, to meet the challenges facing The two countries are also to protect international legality and the Charter of the United Nations based on the right of peoples to self-determination and the protection of State sovereignty.
