The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemns the unjustified and blatant attack launched by the Israeli Foreign Minister against the Secretary-General of the United Nations.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemns in the strongest terms the attack carried out by the Israeli Foreign Minister against the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. Antonio Guterres, considering it unjustified and blatant, and an extension of the lack of respect and non-compliance practiced by the occupation state against the United Nations, its Charter, and its resolutions regarding the Palestinian cause, which represent international legitimacy. It is also seen as a new Israeli attempt to neutralize the role of the United Nations and its international legitimacy in the general conflict, particularly the neutralization of the role of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in his capacity and his consistent positions with international law and the United Nations Charter.

This includes his role, his team, and his recognized representatives in their work and efforts to stop the ongoing and destructive aggression of the occupation against the Palestinian people, as well as their efforts to halt the displacement of Palestinians and urgently open humanitarian corridors for the continuous entry of humanitarian aid to our people.
