Ministry of Foreign Affairs Condemns Settler Terrorist Attack on Huwwara and Calls for the Activation of International Sanctions to Ensure Accountability

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemns the terrorist attack carried out by armed settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, against the town of Huwwara south of Nablus, which left at least nine Palestinians injured and caused extensive damage to property.

The Ministry stresses that this attack reflects a systematic policy of enabling settler terrorism and intimidation against the Palestinian people, aimed at forcibly displacing them from their land and entrenching settlement expansion.

Holding the Israeli government fully responsible for the crime, the Ministry calls on the international community to take immediate action to stop settler terror, provide international protection for the Palestinian people, and activate effective international sanctions against settlers, settlement organizations, and all entities that support or facilitate settlement activities.

The Ministry reiterates that ending impunity is essential to achieving justice and ensuring accountability for crimes committed in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem.
