Minister Dr. Malki receives a copy of the credentials of the representative of the Republic of Nicaragua accredited to the State of Palestine
His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Riad Malki, received Thursday morning, at the ministry's headquarters in Ramallah, a copy of the credentials of the representative of the Republic of Nicaragua accredited to the State of Palestine Ambassador Mazen Khuffash .
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Malki welcomed the new ambassador, stressing the importance of developing and strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, referring to the historical relations between Palestine and Nicaragua, and al-Maliki added that the selection of the first ambassador of the Republic of Nicaragua of Palestinian origin reflects the role and presence of the community Palestinian there. Minister Malki praised the positions of the Republic of Nicaragua in support of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people in international forums.
Ambassador Mazen Khuffash expressed his happiness with the new tasks assigned to him and conveyed the greetings of the Nicaraguan president to the Palestinian leadership and Foreign Minister Dr. Malki. Stressing that he will work to strengthen and develop relations between the two countries, he stressed his country's firm position on the Palestinian issue.
At the end of the meeting, Minister Dr. Malki wished Ambassador Mazen Khuffash success in his new duties to the State of Palestine, pointing out that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expatriates in all sectors is fully prepared to cooperate in order to facilitate his tasks, in order to serve the development and strengthening of bilateral relations between the two sides. The handover ceremony was attended by first Advisor Abeer Al-Ramahi, Assistant of the Minister for the American Affairs, Counselor Hanan Jarrar, Media Director Tarek Eideh, third secretary Linda Dar Issa and diplomatic attaché Zeina al-Masri.
