The Martyrdom of Tqatqa During the Investigation Needs an Urgent Move by the International Criminal Court

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates holds the Israeli government, headed by Benjamin Netanyahu and its security forces, including the prison administration, full and direct responsibility for the death of the Palestinian prisoner Nassar Taqatqa, 31, while he was held under investigation by the Israeli occupation forces.

We call for the establishment of an international commission of inquiry. We also call for the legal and political protection of all Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails, in which Israel shall bear full responsibility for their lives.

The martyrdom of Tqatqa during the investigation needs an urgent move by the international criminal court and the opening of an official investigation into the crimes of the occupation and the prosecution and of Israeli war criminals.
