Palestinian Ambassador receives Cypriot Green Party President and emphasizes the depth of the Palestinian-Cypriot relations

The  Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Cyprus, Jubran Taweel , received on Friday, 31/05/2019, at the Embassy in Nicosia, the President of the Green Party of Cyprus, Mr. George Perdikis, and his Deputy, Ms. Evi Xantho.
The Ambassador reviewed with Mr.Perdikis the latest developments regarding the Palestinian issue and the position of the Palestinian leadership on various issues, especially with regard to the political and economic discourse of the so-called "Deal of the Century".

The Ambassador stressed that the Republic of Cyprus has been and continues to support the just rights of the Palestinian people.

For his part, the head of the Green Party of Cyprus, stressed the position of his party in support of Palestine and its people, and that the position of his party is the same position of the Cypriot people, which has a strong and distinctive friendship with the Palestinian people.
The Ambassador invited the guest to visit Palestine and to learn about the difficult situation in which the Palestinian people live.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador presented a souvenir to the guest, stressing the importance of continuous communication between them.
