The Ministerial Committee assigned by the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit held an official meeting on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, under the chairmanship of His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with Her Excellency the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, Catherine Colonna in Paris. The committee members who participated in the meeting are His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Al-Safadi, His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Sameh Shoukry, and His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine, Riad Malki, His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan, Her Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Ms. Retno Marsudi, His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Yusuf M. Tuggar, His Excellency the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
The meeting discussed the situation in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings, efforts to cease fire and protect civilians, and the importance of establishing and building a truce on it, in addition to discussing many topics of common interest, in a way that enhances the security and stability of the Middle East and the world.
