Minister Shahin Meets UNEA-7 President and Omani Environment Authority Chairman on the Sidelines of the UN Environment Assembly

Minister of Foreign Affairs Varsen Shahin met with Abdullah Al-Omari, President of the 7th UN Environment Assembly and Chairman of Oman’s Environment Authority, on the sidelines of UNEA-7. The meeting was attended by Palestine’s Ambassador to Kenya and Permanent Observer to UN organizations, Hazem Shabat.

During the meeting, Minister Shahin thanked Al-Omari for his leadership of UNEA-7 and for taking on this important responsibility, while expressing appreciation for Oman’s continued support for the Palestinian cause and people.

For his part, Al-Omari reaffirmed Oman’s ongoing support for the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
