Malki meets with Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajčák

Foreign minister and expatriates Dr. Riad Malki met Tuesday with his Slovak counterpart Miroslav Lajčák on the sidelines of the high-level session of the 40th session of the Human Rights Council, which is currently taking place in Geneva, where he was informed of the latest political developments in Palestine and the joint Conference of Ministers Foreign Affairs of some European and Arab countries in the presence of the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States in Dublin, Ireland, in addition to the first Euro-Arab summit, he discussed with the Slovak minister ways to promote and develop cooperative relations between the two countries.

Malki also asked the Slovak foreign Minister to support the decisions of Palestine under the seventh item of the Human Rights Council as a member of the current composition of the Human Rights Council, and in turn the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Slovakia, Mr. Miroslav Lajčák, indicated that Slovakia continued to provide support and grants, including scholarships, A delegation would be coming to Palestine soon to discuss a number of issues of common concern, and the Slovak Minister stressed the importance of convening the Joint Ministerial committee soon, including the States of Palestine.

 

Dr. Ibrahim Khresshi, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the United Nations organizations and the Human Rights Council in Geneva, attended the meetings. Omar Awad Allah, Deputy assistant Secretary of State for Multilateral relations, First Secretary Dima Asfour, and Doaa Nawfal from the Permanent Observer Mission of Palestine to the United Nations in Geneva at meetings with Minister al-Maliki.
