The Minister of Foreign Affairs and expatriates Dr. Riad al-Maliki, met with his Lebanese counterpart Jubran Basil, in a joint meeting of Foreign Ministers and Ministers of the Economic and Social Council preparatory to the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit-fourth session, held today Friday in the Lebanese capital of Beirut.
Minister Dr. Al-Malki briefed his Lebanese counterpart Basil on the latest political and field developments in Palestine, especially the occupied city of Jerusalem, the Israeli actions against our people, also to the acceleration of the construction of settlements, the dispossession of land, arrests and repeated incursions into Palestinian cities.
In addition to the moves to confront the policy of racial discrimination practised by Israel.
Al-Malki warned of the repercussions at the internal, regional and international levels, and the occupying Power ignored all international resolutions and signed agreements.
The two ministers discussed bilateral relations and issues of common concern, and ways to promote and develop bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
Al-Malki reviewed Palestinian diplomatic and political movements in international forums, culminating in the presidency of the State of Palestine of the Group of 77 and China,
