Ambassador Shamieh meets with the acting director of the Australian Representative Office

Dr. Shamieh, Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs and expatriates for Asia, Africa and Australia received on Thursday, acting director of the Australian representative Office, Mr. Warren Hooy.

The Australian Chargé d'affaires, Mr. Warren Hooy, extended his condolences to the Palestinian people and leadership for the victims of the terrorist act in New Zealand. He stressed his country's stance of rejecting all forms of terrorism and extremism, and his country's efforts to combat it. They are actions and ideas that contradict the values and morals of society, and all divine laws and religions.

Ambassador Shamieh expressed his condolences to the Australian Chargé d'affaires, stressing the importance of Australia's work with the Muslim and Arab world and the Palestinian side, in particular, and the need to open an in-depth dialogue to ensure that terrorism and extremism are addressed and combated, and the importance of the Australian Party's reconsideration with regard The concerns and issues of Muslims, foremost among them the Palestinian issue as the first issue of Muslims.

Shamieh addressed the terrorist event in New Zealand, and its approaches to the massacres and massacres of the Palestinian people over the last seven decades of its history, and to the holy places imposed on them by criminals and extremists, from the burning of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the massacre at the Tomb of the Patriarchs, which also killed Dozens in the same way and crime, which require a pause from the international community to blockade and combat organized state terrorism against our people.

Shamieh stressed the willingness of the Palestinian side to work with all parties to support the values and culture of tolerance, coexistence and peace.

In conclusion, Ambassador  Shamieh stressed the need to open an Australian-Palestinian dialogue at all levels in order to correct Australia's biased position of occupation and settlement, which runs counter to the democratic values of Australian society.
