Ambassador Shamieh meets with the representative of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka for the State of Palestine

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Ambassador Shamieh has placed the guest of the developments on the Palestinian street, as well to the Israeli violations and aggressions, and inflammatory and racist policies against the Palestinian people and leadership, which require the international community to shoulder its responsibilities towards providing international protection to our people and their leadership and putting an end Of Israeli practices that violate international law and relevant international resolutions. Ambassador Levantine addressed the Palestinian presidency of the Group of 77 and China, stressing the need for continuous communication and coordination between Palestine and Sri Lanka in this regard, especially as Sri Lanka is a member of the group.

Sri Lanka's representative, Mr. Fawzan, stressed the historical and consistent position of Sri Lankan in support of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish their own independent state and end the occupation, stressing the close relationship between the two friendly countries. The Sri Lankan representative also put Levantine in the form of recent political developments in Sri Lanka.

Ambassador Fawzan pointed out that his duties as Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the State of Palestine during the month March 2019, expressing his thanks and appreciation for the hospitality and reception in Palestine, and appreciating the efforts made to him by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expatriates in all sectors to succeed His duties, wishing security and peace to the Palestinian people,

In conclusion, ambassador Shamieh praised the efforts of Ambassador Fozan in the development and strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries, stressing the official high-level Palestinian presence in the celebration of the Sri Lankan Independence Day, which will be on 2 February this month, and the organization of official prayers To Ambassador Fawzan with leadership and senior officials Palestinian.
